Enthusiasm and Experience
With a career spanning 40 years in administration and sales, including 14+ years in real estate, Glenys Elley has become an established real estate agent in the Buller region and now feels it is time to mentor a younger agent. Danni Foote, New Zealand's youngest Licenced Real Estate salesperson, was introduced to Real Estate when she completed Gateway with Buller High School and found she had a passion for the game. Following on from that grounding, Glenys decided to guide her on her journey by creating a Team of Two.
Since joining the sales team 14 years ago, Glenys has pretty much seen it all. From the highs and lows of real estate, to the challenges of working in a regional economy, Glenys has built a loyal client base who appreciate her ethics, and dedication, with finding the perfect property or buyer for her clients, always her main aspiration. Glenys’s prompt and professional communication style ensures a stress-free experience. Glenys has a skill of making connections, and enjoys that her role allows her to be part of a family’s personal journey.
Glenys appreciates the value of building and maintaining strong relationships, and always puts her client’s needs first.
Her in-depth local knowledge, understanding of having a strong marketing plan, and carefully considered advice will help you achieve the best outcome and highest possible price for your property. Glenys will combine all of this knowledge and experience with Danni’s youthful enthusiasm to provide a Team of the Future.
Glenys features regularly on the monthly nationwide Property Brokers Awards list and has also featured in the Top 20 Agents Nationally.
Having been raised on a farm on the edge of Westport, she also has good rural knowledge and is rurally inclined - but she’s had brief stints living the city life of Wellington and Christchurch. This allows her to relate to home buyers and sellers from all backgrounds.
Glenys is a mother of two sons who have recently navigated both buying and building a home. This allows her to relate to buyers in this group.
Glenys is also an active volunteer of the Buller Cancer Group and assists with fundraising activities. A highlight is her co-ordination of well-known Cancer Group fundraiser – The Garden Ramble.
Entursiasm & Experience
Born and raised in Westport, Danni has a deep understanding of the local area and its unique amenities. Her strong connection to the community ensures that she can answer any questions you have with confidence and insight. With a background in hospitality, Danni enjoys engaging with people and excels at building meaningful relationships.
During her high school years, Danni gained a valuable hands-on experience through the Buller High School work experience program, working closely with several local real estate agents. This opportunity sparked her interest in the industry, and she has since developed a sense of general knowledge in the local Real Estate sector and has taken that into consideration to pursue a career in the field. Now as a member of the Westport branch, Danni is excited to be working alongside Glenys Elley, a highly experienced Sales Agent with over 15 years in the industry. Under Glenys’ mentorship, Danni will continue to grow her expertise across all aspects of real estate.
